“ Delicious Food, Busy Atmosphere I visited Claudine Kitchen in Encino and had a great experience with the food! I ordered the truffle mushroom toast, which was simple but packed with flavor, and it came with a fresh side salad--such a great combo. I also tried the coffee cake muffin, and it was one of the best I've had! Not too sweet, perfectly moist, and topped with a delicious crumble. A big plus is the validated parking--there's an underground lot, and Claudine has a validation machine by the entrance for two hours free parking. However, if you're going on the weekend, be prepared for crowds. It was tough finding a table, and open seats were gone in seconds. Inside, it's pretty loud because the space is packed. They also have wifi. Overall, fantastic food and a great spot, but if you're looking for a quiet, relaxed meal, it might be tricky during peak hours! Would definitely come back for the food, though. ”
“ So delicious. Many options for the dietary restrictions bunch. So delicious. Did I already say that? Very clean. Well situated in an area without many options for decent healthy breakfast, brunch. Great choice. Good coffee. ”
“ I visited Claudine's while waiting for my sister's cataract surgery across the street. The coffee was excellent, the service friendly and warm. The meal (breakfast) was quite good with one exception. I ordered the eggs poached and they were nearly hard cooked. Will I return? Probably. ”
“ Oh Claudine! The "it" spot for breakfast/ brunch! I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. Great food and drink options, friendly service and cute decor. Our kids loved all the holiday decor this year. You stand in line to order your food then find seating. They bring your food to your table once ready. Since I am on a health kick, I ordered the egg white burrito. Very delicious and filling. The brisket breakfast burrito is probably the best seller. You can never go wrong with an omelette, avocado toast, or chilaquiles. A must have for a dessert which we like to share is the churro tres leche French toast. Enjoy! ”
“ Chicken sandwich, Nashville style. I stand by my 2022 review, five stars. Wedges were also perfect. ”
“ I loved this cafe and bakery in Encino. The baked goods are what drew me in but their food was yummy too! They have a wide assortment of baked good everything from pumpkin coffee cake to fruit filled tarts and danishes. I started with a slice of banana bread, the pumpkin coffee cake, and a raspberry tartlet. The coffee cake was super moist, great fall flavoring with the pumpkin and spices, and it was topped with a delicious crumble. The banana bread was equally moist and very good. I loved the raspberry tartlet you could tell it was made with fresh ingredients and the raspberry filling was really zingy. I got an egg white breakfast burrito which also tasted really fresh and came with a side of salsa. The burrito was filled with fresh spinach and feta cheese so it almost had a Greek twist. I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back for more, their baked goods are especially irresistible! ”
“ Saturday little before 9am and this place was already busy. Good sign. Luckily I was able to find a table and try all these goodies. You order at the counter and pay there, and then you find a table for yourself. Asked the hostess what was the best sellers and she suggested the churros tres leches French toast and the brisket burrito. My friend and I were very impressed with the burrito. Contrary to what you would expect from a brisket burrito, it wasn't oily or greasy at all, but I felt like eating a super balanced meal. The meat was super tender, but not because of the amount of fat, it was just well cooked. It was also not crammed with cheese, the potato inside was fresh and the size was pretty generous. The French toast though was a slight disappointment, not because it was poorly made, but just because it came with an unusual strong seasoning, something like burned nut taste that maybe my immature palate could not fully appreciate. They have a good selection of items on their menu and counter (so many eye catching baked goods!) and everything looks amazing. I will definitely come back! ”
“ One of my go-to brunch spots! I also appreciate their care and attention to local and high quality ingredients. I usually order the Brisket Burrito but opted for the Chilaquiles, which came with a delicious salsa verde con pollo! I also recommend the Churro Tres Leches French Toast, it added the perfect sweet factor to brunch and I have no regrets. The Matcha Lemonade is also very refreshing twist to traditional lemonade. Honorable mentions: -You pay when you order, so you don't have to wait for a check! - Food is quickly served to your table, and when you're done you can just leave the dishes to be bussed later - Validate parking!! - Offer seasonal options and regularly update their menu - There's self-seating and you can get your own table water and cups from the drinks corner (where you can also get your own to-go containers!) All VERY convenient :) ”
“ Amazing atmosphere with the cutest self seating. Once you order your food with the lovely staff, simply wait for your food and enjoy! The brown sugar cinnamon latte was amazing and the food was good too. We got the miso salmon bowl and the fried chicken sandwich and they tasted amazing! The wedges were great and crispy and well seasoned too. Such a fun breakfast spot and I recommend! ”
“ Adorable little place on Ventura Boulevard with validated underground parking. Absolutely delicious food. Everything we tried was perfectly cooked and very tasty and the people who work there were all smiles. HIGHLY recommend giving Claudine's a try. New favorite breakfast spot! ”
